This is one of my favorite times of year, when Flatstock comes to my town as part of the always exciting Pitchfork Music Fest. This year was loaded with exciting work from a huge variety of artists. I was thrilled to chat with some of my heros and see some of their newest work up close as well we meet some new-comers who are creating some really stellar work. The rain on Saturday was a bit of a downside, making the idea of buying a printed art piece not quite as desirable, but I was able to make it on Sunday when it was sunny, dry and HOT. Much better for poster-buying, much worse on my bank account.

I managed to hit every booth and many were kind enough to let me take pictures. Below is a slideshow of my shots from the event which include Print Mafia, Burlesque, Dan Grzeca, Casey Burns, Crosshair, Ryan Duggan, Silent Giants, Doe Eyed, John Vogl, Johnny Sampson, Sean Mort and Sonnenzimmer. And careful viewing will also reveal several cameos of my sidekick for the day, my 8-year-old daughter Maya.
