The amazing comic artist Adrian Tomine, who may be best known to some for his ongoing Optic Nerve series, has been getting quite a bit more attention lately for his illustration work for The New Yorker. His latest book New York Drawings (which will be released on October 2nd by Drawn & Quarterly) is a collection of these comics and illustrations he’s done over the years for The New Yorker. This 176-page, full color hardcover also compiles some additional rare and uncollected illustrations and sketches which were inspired by the city.
